This year on 12th June Worthing Golf Club welcomed 63 ladies in teams of 3 to play for the beautiful
cut glass President’s Trophy on the Vardon course, which was in excellent condition. The weather
was glorious resulting in some very high scores with the winning team of Gill Maynard, Sue Sexton
and Jane Harmer from Willingdon managing a total of 84 points.
Thank you to Worthing for hosting the event, the greenkeepers and catering staff who have done an
excellent job, not forgetting Joanna Greenstreet, Carol Hall and the committee for all their help in
making the day a success.
